Ensaymadas are an enriched bread - like a brioche - we make ours by hand to order, using a special blend of butter, vegetable fats and lard we render ourselves. This adds flavour, moisture and makes for a perfectly light and fluffy dough.
They can be ordered 'plain' (with a frosting, sugar and cheese topping), ube flavour, salted duck egg, or chocolate and nut).
They contain animal fats, milk, eggs, wheat, and soya.
